Established in 1997, the IEC of the Texas Panhandle Chapter is an association of independent electrical contractors dedicated to furthering the growth of the electrical industry through skilled manpower and the principles of free enterprise.

IEC has chapters at the local, state and national level. This combined affiliation provides a flexible and comprehensive package of programs and services for the electrical construction industry and gives us a bigger voice here in the panhandle, statewide, and nationally.

IEC has more than 50 chapters nationwide to meet the unique needs of its members. Each year more than 10,000 apprentices are trained at IEC facilities, providing a strong, reliable labor force for the electrical and systems contracting industry. In addition to our ever important apprenticeship program IEC of the Texas Panhandle also provides other educational opportunities to include continuing education which is required by TDLR, safety courses, and business management seminars which are offered at discount prices for IEC members. Members are also represented legislatively on the local, state, and national level, participate in money saving programs offered by associate members, are engaged in various networking opportunities and tradeshows, support our local community through IEC sponsored community give back programs, and enjoy special events throughout the year such as golf tournaments, baseball games, skeet shoots, dinner meetings, and educational conferences.PLEASE SEE OUR MEMBERSHIP PAGE FOR A FULL LIST OF BENEFITS.
